I think as I get older I begin to ask questions about what it’s all about, why we are here, and what it is I’m searching for. And then Neil deGrasse Tyson goes and says it way better than I could ever imagine: “We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically. That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that.” This life is about connectivity. People. Love. Period.

Tuesday, December 30th, 2014End of Old Year….On to New Year
Monday, December 29th, 2014Steve (my friend) and I have often recognized as we agonize over some past event, “It’s hard not to be grateful!!!”. We actually laugh at ourselves as one of us realizes we are ready to end our complaining, and says “It’s hard not to be grateful!” Of course, it is usually me (Bob) since I’m healthier, better, and more grateful than Steve!!! I choose to be grateful as I look over the past year.
I wish a Happy New Year to all people!!!! That is, I wish for joy realizing that the opposite of joy is depression. Furthermore, I will be depressed if I equate myself as no more than a body.
PS to Steve: I hope you realize I can reject any response to this post, so you will have to use your utmost discretion in your response.
Feeling Safe

Just as they are–chaff and grain together, knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away. Saturday, June 19th, 2010Does mediation work? When I hear destructive communications change to constructive, I know mediation is effective. When I see people who appear to be weak, become empowered, I know mediation is effective. When I witness empathetic listening, I know mediation is effective.
